According to the brand, the GMO-free soap contains organic shea butter and fair trade almond oil. This also comes in unscented and juicy orange. The pumpkin soap received a green score of 1 on the EWG due to the presence of coconut oil and shea butter. Just like the terms clean, green, natural, and organic, the term fragrance is defined differently by every brand. There are different fragrance standards and certifications brands can pursue to demonstrate a commitment to safety.
Native formulates fragrances under the guidelines created by the International Fragrance Regulatory Association (IFRA). The fragrance is free of phthalates and parabens. The fragrance formulas often include essential oils, natural extracts and safe synthetics.
If you have sensitive skin, there are plenty of other options to explore. However, if you’re looking for a cleaner alternative to your usual seasonal body wash, this is a great option. Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask is designed to exfoliate the skin. The brand is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free and the product contains 98% plant-based ingredients. The mask is a pumpkin, honey, and vitamin c-infused formula.
Andalou Naturals is a popular clean beauty brand that is non-GMO and the formulas are created with plant-based ingredients.
